SNAPPED: Views from a sunny winter day on Grimes Mill Road at the border of Clark and Fayette Counties. Winter has never been one of my favorite seasons, so it’s sometimes easy for me to overlook its beauty when I’m just trying to avoid the cold and clouds until springtime. Nature wouldn’t let me overlook the beauty of winter last weekend while taking a country drive near the Iroquois Hunt Club. I love the ice formations on the waterfall running down the cliff, the frozen rapids of the creek, and the contrast of the clear, blue sky against the traditional red and white barn.
